Hopkins Brewery is a local (SLC), low-key, brick-lined brewpub located in the hub of Sugarhouse, serving house craft brews, tasting flights & international pub grub. They source local as much as possible, and I truly love them for it...not to mention their killer beer!
If you're in SLC, be sure to stop by. They frequently switch up their drink menu, have live music and other chill-ass events. I'm so proud to collaborate with my friends of Salt Lake Lettering Club to bring Hopkins Beer visuals to life.

"THE BASIC WITCH"
Pumpkin Chocolate Stout
If Hopkins' Pumpkin Chocolate Stout is "basic", then so am I. I freaking love this beer. It has all the qualities of a beautiful October evening...rich spices, pumpkin, and chocolate. It's basically dessert in a glass.
I had to bring in the witchy vibes with the wooden planchette and tarot card illustrations framing in a sturdy and yet still whimsical lettering style.

Watermelon Lime Gose
This summer beer needed a playful and warm identity, so I tried to do just that with a bouncy baseline with some curls sprinkled into the lettering. The salt gradient drawn into the background doubles as an homage to sandy beaches.
